A British artist living for quite a few years in Germany. Martin Smith has retained his “British humour” from his English homeland, which the audiences of his theatre productions enjoy so much.

Since the founding of the theatre society "Katastrophen Kultur e.V.", Martin Smith has performed regularly in “Scaramouche”, the theatre under Menden’s indoor swimming pool.

Among his roles in well-known plays, he has also written and produced his own plays.

Some examples: "Brits", "Alwine" and "Alwine and the Power of the Stones" and "Trübel - nothing for the faint of hearted".

In addition to his acting activities Martin Smith writes books.

The last published book "Grandpa & Pia in Menden" is actually a colouring book with a story.

It is written in German and English and has been on the market since November 2018.
